Intro
ContractHero is a fast-growing B2B SaaS company based in Berlin, building contract lifecycle management (CLM) software for the German Mittelstand. Our customers are mid-market companies (200+ employees, €20M+ revenue) across DACH who rely on ContractHero to manage, track, and optimize their contracts post-signature and beyond.
We are at an inflection point: moving from a repository-first product into a broader contract management platform. This role is central to making that transition happen.
Your Role
As our first dedicated Product Manager, you will own the product strategy and roadmap. You connect customer needs, market positioning, and business goals into a coherent product direction. You work alongside a Product Owner who handles backlog execution, and you report directly to the co-founders.
This is not a feature factory role. You will make strategic decisions about what we build, what we don’t build, and why — backed by customer data, churn analysis, and competitive insight.
- Own the product roadmap — define quarterly priorities based on customer journeys, revenue impact, and strategic positioning
- Translate customer problems into product decisions — use churn data, deal-loss analysis, and CS feedback to prioritize what matters
- Define positioning through product — work with Sales and Marketing to align product capabilities with target deal sizes (€20K–€50K+)
- Set the line on scope — clearly communicate what we build and what we deliberately do not build
- Drive cross-functional alignment — bridge Engineering, CS, Sales, and Marketing around shared goals and deliverables
- Establish product metrics — define and track success criteria per feature, per journey, per quarter
- Conduct competitive analysis — monitor CLM market, identify differentiation opportunities in DACH
- Run quarterly product reviews — present progress, learnings, and course corrections to leadership
